EDIMAX EW-7612PIn Wi-Fi card PCI-Express 300 MBit/s

The EW-7612pin is a wireless PCI Express adapter with a simple and easy possibility to connect your PC wireless or to update. This wireless PCI Express adapter supports data transfer speeds of up to 300 MBit/s, when connected to a wireless device according to the standard 802.11n. You can use it also to every public WLAN access point in the Internet, in order to find E-mails, surf websites or use instant messaging. The EW-7612pin gives you the freedom to connect to a network.
With the wireless 802.11n technology, the EW-7612pin the increases the range up to 4 times and the "dead spots" inside the network range are reduced. The data transfer rate can be up to 300 MBit/s, if the wireless devices are connected according to standard 802.11n, as a result of which the signals in comparison to wireless network according to the standard 802.11b/g are faster. The extraordinary chipset of the EW-7612pin provides an increased bandwidth and more features than other standard PCI network adapters. The adapter is specially designed to reach the full bandwidth of the PCI Express bus of 2.5 GBit/s, where crashes and waiting time can be prevented because of the current 32- and 64-bit PCI-Bus architectures.
The EW-7612pin supports 64- / 128-bit WEP data encryption, so your wireless network is protected against eavesdropping. It also supports WPA ( Wi-Fi Protected access), what combines IEEE 802.1x and TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) technologies. The adapter further supports the functions WPA2 and WPS. WPA2 offers a stronger encryption mechanism by AES (Advanced Encryption standard), which is required in some companies and federal offices. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and safe establishment of a wireless networks. The EW-7612pin supports software with WPS-compatible configurations. If both ends of the WLAN-connection of the wireless solution use WPS, the wireless network automatically configures itself with the robust WPA data encryption and authentication.
The accompanying 16-languages EZmax setup wizard and the friendly interface reflects accompany you through the configuration of the EW-7612pin to your wireless network.
