Description
The Wisualarm DHI-HY-GC20D-R8 is a wirelessly networked carbon monoxide detector for continuous monitoring of indoor carbon monoxide concentrations. The device uses an electro-chemical sensor for the precise detection of carbon monoxide and reacts quickly to increased concentrations.
As soon as the measured CO concentration reaches the alarm level, the device activates an acoustic and visual alarm and simultaneously informs all connected devices within the radio network.
The integrated electrochemical sensor is designed for accurate detection with low false alarm rates. The alarm is triggered by an integrated signal transmitter with a volume of over 85 dB(A) at a distance of three meters.
In addition, the LCD-display and LED-displays inform about the current CO-concentration, the operating status, detected errors as well as warnings at low battery status or the end of life.
The device is suitable for use in apartments, restaurants, hotels and other interior spaces with a requirement of carbon monoxide detection.
The detector can be paired with a separate Wisualert WLAN Base Station DHI-HY-GW01A and used with the Wisualarm APP. The base station serves as a central connection unit for compatible Wisualarm and WisuLink wireless products and enables the APP connection of the networked detectors. When an alarm is triggered, the detector emits an alarm signal; in addition, push notifications can be transmitted to a smartphone in combination with the base station. Up to 24 compatible WisuLink wireless products can be integrated per base station. The coupling is done via the pairing button on the gateway as well as the TEST/MUTE button on the respective detector. The base station is not included in the delivery and is available separately.
