Description

The IMOU ZSM1 is a smart smoke detector for local smoke detection and alarm. It is certified in accordance with EN 14604 and warns with an alarm sound of at least 85 dB at 3 m and a red LED display in the event of detected smoke development.

The smoke detector communicates via Zigbee in the 2.4 GHz band. A compatible gateway is required for network and APP functions. Without the gateway, the ZSM1 continues to function as an independent smoke detector and triggers the alarm locally in the event of smoke.

In conjunction with a gateway, the ZSM1 supports real-time push notifications and remote mute via the IMOU Life APP. Alarm messages can be divided over the APP with up to six user accounts.

Several ZSM1 smoke detectors connected to the same gateway can function as a networked multi-area alarm: If one detector triggers an alarm, the other connected detectors also trigger an alarm. According to the manufacturer, this local network also remains active without an Internet connection.

The power is supplied by a CR123A or CR17335 lithium battery. According to the manufacturer, the battery life is more than five years. Low battery warning sounds at 2.6 +/- 0.05 V.
