VOLTCRAFT VC-460 E Handheld multimeter Calibrated to (SCS-accredited certification body) Digital Water-jet proof (IP65)

Extremely robust multimeters
The Voltcraft VC-400 Series is ideally suited for electricians. Fitters and service technicians for working in harsh environments. It comes with a wide range of features that make this product an excellent choice.

Heavy duty
The rubber-coated compound enclosure protects meter and device when it's being dropped on a hard surface, able to withstand a fall from 6 feet. And the rubber-coating also provides lots of grip.

Water and moisture protection (IP65)
The measuring device is designed in such a way that rain and snow or even a water jet do not damage the device. Use and storage in locations with high humidity such as plant premises. Mesh rooms and not completely dry garages are possible without any problem.

Dust and dirt-proof
The housing. The bushings and all controls are designed to be completely dust-proof. Even after many years, the measuring device remains as operational as on the first day.

Non-slip in the lying position and folded up
The Voltcraft VC-400 series always has non-slip contact with the surface thanks to the rubberized back. When the device is folded up, the device remains secure thanks to the integrated rubber surface in the bracket.

True RMS readings ensure accuracy
True RMS measurement enables reading of asymmetrical voltage and amperage with wave forms other than a sinus. Unbalanced voltages are usually found in power controllers such as dimmers. Speed controller. Synchronized switching regulators. Pulsed chargers or electronic speed controllers in model construction etc. Which means that in these cases conventional meters displaying average readings are prone to large measurement errors.

Auto display lighting
The built-in light sensor automatically switches on display backlighting in low-light conditions. The display features enhanced contrast levels. Moreover, auto backlighting can be turned off to safe battery life.

Mounting of measuring tips
For measuring in the control cabinet, one of the measuring tips can be attached to the back of the device. The problem. At the same time, the device and two measuring tips must be held. This is solved.

Large display with 6000 counts
With extra large digits this multimeter offers a very good readability. Readings of up to 5999 (6000 counts) are always displayed as 4-digit numbers no matter where the decimal mark is placed.

Suspension fastener
With the fold-out steel eyelet, belt systems can be used for attachment. The stable eyelet integrates perfectly into the multimeter's housing concept when folded in.

Torch function
A high-performance LED is integrated into the housing on the back. At the push of a button you can find the way to the fuse box even in the dark.

Certified safety
The VC-440 E comes with a TÜV certificate and complies with CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V standards

Reliable readings thanks to ISO calibration
Diagnostics tools used in an environment that complies with ISO 9001 standards require ISO calibration. Also for experts. An ISO certification is helpful and often a prerequisite.
