VOLTCRAFT VC276 Handheld multimeter Calibrated to (SCS-accredited certification body) Digital CAT III 600 V Display (cou

Optimized for school and training
The Voltraft VC276 multimeter has a number of features which make the device interesting for training purposes. The measuring device is also suitable for profession and hobby for applications up to 600 V. By pressing a button the input resistance can be reduced for a short time from 10 MΩ to 400 kΩ, in order to avoid faulty measurements through stray voltages.

Large display with 4000 counts
With 19mm digit size this multimeter offers a very good readability. The display shows 4-digit values up to 4000 (4000 counts) - regardless of the position of the decimal point.

Compact and robust
The shock-proof device features a composite enclosure including a protective rubber layer. And the rubber-coating also provides lots of grip. A stand on the rear side lets you place the multimeter in a way that allows you to read the display, keeping your hands free for taking readings.

True RMS readings ensure accuracy
True RMS measurement enables reading of asymmetrical voltage and amperage with wave forms other than a sinus. Unbalanced voltages are usually found in power controllers such as dimmers. Speed controller. Synchronized switching regulators. Pulsed chargers or electronic speed controllers in model construction etc. Which means that in these cases conventional meters displaying average readings are prone to large measurement errors.

Acoustic warning signal
An acoustic signal immediately plays an acoustic sound when the measuring line is incorrectly inserted.

Removable protective caps
The measuring tips are optimally protected against contact. If necessary, a protective cap can be removed to measure in luster terminals.

Wear indicator of the measuring line
The leads feature two layers of insulation, each in a different colour. If the first insulating layer is damaged, a different colored insulation appears. Ideal for training equipment. To change worn test leads early.

Measuring sockets assignment
Depending on the selected measuring variable, the correct assignment of the measuring sockets is shown on the display. This is a great help for beginners and students to avoid misuse.

Self-resetting fuse
This device has a self-resetting fuse for measuring up to 400mA. This version eliminates the need to change expensive high-performance fuse. This is especially beneficial in training.

Battery replacement safety
To replace the battery or 10A fuse, the housing must be opened. For safety reasons, the test leads should not be connected. This meter is designed in a way that does not open the case, unlike simple conventional devices. As long as test leads are connected. Test leads can only be reconnected after closing the housing.

Green line
This series is optimized for particularly long battery life. Therefore, the development did not require a display backlight

Factory calibration ensures accurate readings
Calibration according to manufacturer standards is part of Voltcraft Quality Assurance. This ensures high quality products and compliance with tolerance limits as outlined in the user manual. This does not include certification.
