Description

Complete data backup
My Book Desktop-Storage contains the software WD Backup, is compatible with Apple Time Machine and enables the reliable backup of your photos, videos, music files and documents. You can set up an automatic backup. To back up important data from your computer, simply set the time and frequency.

With Acronis® True Image™ WD Edition software, the My Book Desktop hard disk also enables planning of complete system backups.

WD Backup, Apple Time Machine compatibility, and Acronis True Image WD Edition provide a complete backup solution that supports data recovery after a virus attack, a defect, or if you accidentally clicked Delete.

Password protection with hardware encryption
The 256-bit AES hardware encryption integrated in the My Book hard disk together with the WD Security™ software ensures that your contents are always confidential and protected. All you need to do is enable password protection and set your own password.
