Description
The WX soldering station combines design with increased power and intuitive operation. Its extremely high efficiency guarantees a very short heat up time and it works with one 200 watt tool or alternatively two 120 watt tools. The sturdy and patented glass control panel is antistatic as well as resistant to chemicals and high temperatures. It's very easy to operate using the rotary click wheel with confirmation button and finger guide, together with its 6 touch keys. Menu navigation is available in the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin.
A multitude of connectivity options:
Unique tool detection for interference-free digital data transmission; soldering bits can be changed easily thanks to an interlocking ring that can be operated with one hand.
There are also two connections that can be used for managing fume extraction units, heating plates and programmable logic controllers (PLC). The temperature, speed and status of any additional devices connected are shown on the WX display.
An additional USB port is available for firmware upgrades, parameter adjustments and data logging on a USB stick.
Intelligent tools:
The calibration of the soldering iron means that calibration of the soldering station is not required. All WX tools have a built-in sensor that detects when it is in use, individual iron calibration separate from the base station, data memory read in the bit handle and an internal memory that transfers the settings from the iron to an individual base station.
Optimised, spring-loaded tip barrel (for the WXP 120):
Even contact pressure thanks to spring-load / antistatic softgrip / tool-less tip exchange.
Power saving sleep mode:
Automatic standby mode thanks to a sensor in the handle that detects when it is in use / no special stop-and-go rest required /
WXP 120 with blue ring light (light out = off, light blinking = standby or heating up, light on = tip ready for use) / all connected accessories such as fume extractors and heating plates also go into sleep mode.
